Since its introduction in 1998, Vision has been the market leader by consistently delivering vital functionality and advanced technology. Vision’s major product features allow advisors to:

  • View aggregate book-of-business assets, as well as total number of accounts and total assets by fund.
  • Group individual accounts into customized client portfolios and households.
  • View detailed customer account information including registration information, transaction history, cost basis, and tax summary information.
  • Check rates, yields, discount categories, breakpoint schedules, net asset value (NAV), and NAV changes.
  • Establish new accounts.
  • Process transactions including exchanges, subsequent Automated Clearing House (ACH) purchases and redemptions, and check redemptions.
  • Access and print standard shareholder statements.

Vision Professional adds enhanced features to Vision by providing advisors an affordable solution for generating consolidated customer reports. In addition, Vision Professional includes seamless integration with Advisor WatchGuard™ to generate product analytic reporting.

In addition, Vision may be deployed from within a broker/dealer’s proprietary Web offering through a branded, private label offering. Fund and variable annuity companies may also incorporate the full capabilities of Vision into their advisor Web sites through Fund Family Vision.

FAN Mail
With participation from more than 220 management companies, Financial Advisor Network Mail (FAN Mail) is the largest single source of mutual fund, variable annuity, variable universal life, and real estate investment trust (REIT) customer account information. Automated downloads streamline daily back-office administrative tasks and allow advisors to efficiently track customers' transactions.

FAN Mail receives files from the various recordkeeping systems of its participating management companies. These files are processed and placed on the HTTPS/SSL-secured FAN Mail Web site for financial intermediaries to download. This service enables advisors to leverage their portfolio-management software's full capabilities while reducing manual data entry of customers' account activity. For broker/dealer home offices, this service can be easily integrated into existing recordkeeping systems.

FAN Mail closes the home-office automation gap by transferring transactions such as purchases, redemptions, exchanges, registrations, distributions, positions, and daily prices directly into portfolio-management software.

FAN Mail downloads are compatible with the most popular portfolio-management software packages available, including those from Advent, Client Marketing Systems, Ebix, Morningstar and Schwab Performance Technologies.

FAN Mail is the best source for complete customer account information. To enroll or learn more about FAN Mail, visit www.dstfanmail.com or call 800.435.4112.

Internet Dealer Commissions
DST Internet Dealer Commissions (IDC) is an automated, real-time file delivery system for commission and 12b-1 data generated by jobs executed on the TA2000 recordkeeping platform. Using this system, management companies reduce the time required to provide commission data to dealers. Commission data is available for retrieval by broker/dealer home offices 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the Internet Dealer Commissions Web site, www.dstidc.com.
