Distribution Support Solutions Overview

In addition to providing technologically advanced features, the Distribution Support Solutions organization works with asset management companies and intermediaries to provide a superior level of service and automation. 

Three distinct groups within Distribution Support Solutions cater to specific segments of the third-party distributed marketplace:

Home-Office Services
Home-Office Services targets solutions exclusively for the broker-dealer and trust company home office, including DST's NSCC interface and Vision HomeOffice to streamline daily operations.

NSCC Interface
DST mutual fund customers are the single largest user of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) NSCC system.  DST’s NSCC interface is totally automated and fully integrated with TA2000, and supports Fund/SERV, Networking, Commission Settlement, Defined Contribution Clearance and Settlement (DCC&S), Trust Processing, ACATS and Mutual Fund Profile Service (MFPS).

Vision HomeOffice
The Vision HomeOffice web site provides operational tools to facilitate self-servicing, including intra-day NSCC reject processing, commission reconciliation, and Rights of Accumulation (ROA) details.

Advisor Services
Advisor Services concentrates on the independent financial advisor and RIA marketplace, facilitating distribution by making it easier for advisors to do business with DST’s mutual fund, variable annuity and REIT customers.  Portfolio aggregation, management and reporting solutions are delivered through DST Vision and Vision Professional.   Advisor Services also supports FAN Mail and the Internet Dealer Commission features of the TA2000 recordkeeping system. 

DST Vision
DST Vision is the web site most widely used by financial intermediaries for access to customer account information from more than 370 mutual fund and variable annuity companies. Vision provides simple, interactive tools that help advisors manage accounts more efficiently.

Fan Mail
With participation from more than 220 management companies, Financial Advisor Network Mail (FAN Mail) is the largest single source of mutual fund, variable annuity, variable universal life, and real estate investment trust (REIT) customer account information. Automated downloads streamline daily back-office administrative tasks and allow advisors to efficiently track customers' transactions.  FAN Mail closes the home-office automation gap by transferring transactions such as purchases, redemptions, exchanges, registrations, distributions, positions, and daily prices directly into portfolio-management software. Internet Dealer Commissions
DST Internet Dealer Commissions (IDC) is an automated, real-time file delivery system for commission and 12b-1 data from the TA2000 recordkeeping platform. IDC reduces the time required to provide commission data to dealers. Distributor Technologies
The Distributor Technologies team provides information services and business intelligence tools that enable fund companies to more effectively distribute their products through financial intermediaries. Offerings include:

DST SalesConnect - a data aggregation and scrubbing service that provides financial intermediary profiles and reconciles trades and asset positions from various recordkeeping, subaccounting, and supermarket platforms.

DST WalletShare - a business intelligence tool that provides in-depth insight into a fund companies' share of flows and assets compared to competing investment products at the firm, office, and advisor levels.

TA2000 Omnibus Transparency - a data aggregation and analysis service that assists fund families with prospectus compliance and intermediary oversight responsibilities related to sub-accounting agreements.
